The U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC), brings together nine organizational members committed to building a more prosperous world through cooperatives. Its mission is to champion, advocate, and promote effective international cooperative development. The International Cooperative Research Group (RG) is a division of OCDC that is spearheading the implementation of OCDC’s USAID-funded initiative, Cooperative Research, Education & Dissemination (CRED). As part of this initiative and to support cooperatives during the COVID-19 global public health emergency, the Research Group seeks qualified individuals or organizations to design and deliver training workshop(s) (the number of these will be determined in phase 2) and a training curriculum on remote management and collaboration tools, techniques and strategies.
Recognizing that knowledge and skillsets in these areas have always been relevant and needed, current operational realities are requiring even more robust knowhow and expertise in these topics. Accordingly, while the goal of this training is to respond to urgent capacity building needs, it is envisioned that it will also contribute to improved, longer-term organizational and programmatic outcomes due to the inherent nature of remote, international programming.
The selected consultant/vendor will design and develop live, but digitally recorded, training workshop(s) for OCDC’s cooperative development partners on remote management and collaboration.
